Hello,
this is Jula introducing KRPD Siegen!! We do our KRPD‘s every month in Summer not only to dance together but also because our KRPD supports a Children’s Hospice with the money people donate to us while we’re dancing! This year we already were able to donate over 1000€!! We also recently started to add themes every now and then and this RPD we had the casual „Black & White“ where everyone came wearing different shades of Black, Grey and White!

At our KRPD on August 19 I also had the chance to interview a few of the participants. Let me introduce Pinar & Anji.
Jula: So Pinar, since you’re from a little far away may I know why you decided to join this KRPD?
Pinar: Back then I didn’t know much about random dances in Germany but I knew there were ones in big cities. Through YouTube I found out there was one in Siegen and Siegen is much closer to me than all the other cities. So I went there with my friends and we instantly made new amazing friends. Siegen is definitely my favorite random dance and I love being there.
Jula: Anji, I really like your outfit, can I ask what inspired you to wear that for our theme „Black & White?“
Anji: To be honest at first I didn’t really know what to wear so I asked some friends for inspiration. Some of them sent me some pictures and I really likes Jennie’s outfit because it looked really cute so I decided to recreate it in my own style!😊

You can also meet lots of cool people in Siegen at the Random Dance but first of all I want to mention the great orga team, because without them we wouldn’t even exist! But of course there are many other people such as one of the organizers of the KRPD Düsseldorf (Maksi) who actually lives in Siegen and also some contest winners (Eileen & Maksi).

This month’s Random Dance was as amazing as always and we finally got a tent for our orga team, the camera and music box! Next up is a table where we will put on the flyers for a Children’s Hospice we’re supporting.

In Siegen we always have many good moments but the highlights of our Random Dances are the great performances! Everyone can apply for the performances and our orga team then decides who will get to perform, but even if you won’t get chosen, don’t be sad and just try the next time!!

Even though we were all having so much fun without the sun, it sadly started raining during the Random Dance, but the dancers still didn’t let their mood go down and enjoyed the few drops of rain on such a hot summer day! Most of us also continued dancing while ignoring the rain pouring down on us!
Now at the end I’d like to thank Kpopper for asking me to write a blog of our KRPD and giving us the opportunity to get a bigger community! The orga team and I are really happy that we got to be the first KRPD to post a blog here! ich bin Jula und stelle euch KRPD Siegen vor! Wir veranstalten unsere KRPDs jeden Monat im Sommer nicht nur, um gemeinsam zu tanzen, sondern auch, weil unser KRPD ein Kinderhospiz mit dem Geld unterstützt, das die Leute uns beim Tanzen spenden! In diesem Jahr konnten wir bereits über 1000€ spenden!! Wir haben auch kürzlich begonnen, von Zeit zu Zeit Themen hinzuzufügen, und dieses Mal hatten wir das Motto „Black & White“, bei dem jeder in verschiedenen Schattierungen von Schwarz, Grau und Weiß gekleidet kam!

Bei unserem KRPD am 19. August hatte ich auch die Gelegenheit, einige der Teilnehmer zu interviewen. Lasst mich euch Pinar & Anji vorstellen.
Jula: Also Pinar, da du von etwas weiter weg kommst, darf ich fragen, warum du dich entschieden hast, an diesem KRPD teilzunehmen?
Pinar: Damals wusste ich nicht viel über Random Dances in Deutschland, aber ich wusste, dass es sie in großen Städten gibt. Über YouTube habe ich herausgefunden, dass es einen in Siegen gibt, und Siegen ist viel näher bei mir als alle anderen Städte. Also bin ich mit meinen Freunden dorthin gegangen und wir haben sofort neue tolle Freunde gefunden. Siegen ist definitiv mein Lieblings-Random-Dance, und ich liebe es, dort zu sein.
Jula: Anji, mir gefällt dein Outfit wirklich gut, darf ich fragen, was dich inspiriert hat, das für unser Motto “Black & White” zu tragen?
Anji: Um ehrlich zu sein, wusste ich anfangs nicht wirklich, was ich tragen sollte, also habe ich einige Freunde um Inspiration gebeten. Einige von ihnen haben mir Bilder geschickt, und mir hat Jennies Outfit wirklich gut gefallen, weil es sehr niedlich aussah, also habe ich beschlossen, es in meinem eigenen Stil nachzumachen! 😊

In Siegen kann man auch viele coole Leute kennenlernen, aber zuerst möchte ich das großartige Orga-Team erwähnen, denn ohne sie würden wir nicht existieren! Aber natürlich gibt es viele andere Leute dort, wie einen der Organisatoren des KRPD Düsseldorf (Maksi), der eigentlich in Siegen lebt, und auch einige Wettbewerbsgewinner (Eileen & Maksi).

Der Random Dance dieses Monats war genauso großartig wie immer, und wir haben nun endlich ein Zelt für unser Orga-Team, die Kamera und die Musikbox bekommen! Als nächstes steht ein Tisch an, auf dem wir Flyer für ein Kinderhospiz platzieren werden, das wir unterstützen.

In Siegen haben wir immer viele gute Momente, aber die Höhepunkte unserer Random Dances sind die großartigen Auftritte! Jeder kann sich für Auftritte bewerben, und unser Orga-Team entscheidet dann, wer auftreten darf. Aber selbst wenn du nicht ausgewählt wirst, sei nicht traurig und versuche es einfach beim nächsten Mal wieder!!

Obwohl wir alle so viel Spaß hatten, fing es leider während des Random Dances an zu regnen, aber die Tänzer ließen sich trotzdem nicht die Laune verderben und genossen die wenigen Regentropfen an einem so heißen Sommertag! Die meisten von uns tanzten auch weiter, während der Regen auf uns niederprasselte!
Am Ende möchte ich Kpopper dafür danken, dass sie mich gebeten haben, einen Blog über unseren KRPD zu schreiben, und uns die Möglichkeit gegeben haben, eine größere Community aufzubauen! Das Orga-Team und ich freuen uns wirklich, dass wir der erste KRPD sind, der hier einen Blogpost veröffentlichen darf!
